Community Events
One of our goals as The Treehouse Language Center is to make language learning accessible to all, regardless of the costs. Therefore we have countless community events in addition to our normal classes. Our community events are often at a discounted rate and are open to anyone interested in participating. We want to create a community of language learners, a safe place for people to come to feel comfortable to try and speak the language with their peers. We host many different events throughout the year in order to make this possible.

Our different events include, Camps (spring and summer,) Game Time, Happenings, Language Exchanges and Workshops. To stay up to date on all of our events be sure to subscribe to our mailing list and or check out our blog page to see our events publicized.

We present a community project, "Game Time," that makes the spoken English language accessible to the children of the city. The Treehouse operates a weekly informal language education in its facilities in Beersheva. We operate in an “Open Space” out of which the children of the South can participate in an immersive, fun, and engaging English language experience. Game Time is presented similarly to a break at a school in an English speaking country, through free play, songs, crafts and group activities.
The sessions are conducted entirely in English by our Native English speaking teachers and volunteers, who teach through play and encourage participants to speak, listen, and venture outside of their linguistic comfort zones.
The programming takes place exclusively in English, without translation to and from Hebrew, and hence it is open to all mother tongues.

Game Time is accessible because it is a high quality program held at a discounted rate and it does not require yearlong commitment. It is recommended to join Game Time in addition to yearlong classes to maximize the immersive experience of English acquisition.
Game Time is open for children 4-14 years old. The sessions are held weekly in Schuna Bet in Beersheva on Wednesdays The programming begins and ends with a concentrated meeting of all participants for introductions and conclusions. Payment is only 45 shekels per meeting and you must preregister.
Game Time will be at 16:15-17:30 for children 4-9 years old and from 17:45-19:00 for children 10-14 years old.
Camps
Like going to camp in the USA without the need to fly!
We offer a range of different experiences and options for breaks from school.
We believe that learning can be and should be fun and we will continue to encourage learning and language acquisition through our summer camps. The camps are lead by Native English Speakers and will include themed activity days to learn words from specific topics. We believe that our camps are the best immersive experience because its a two week intensive program. We continue to lead our camps the same way we teach our classes through spoken English using games, music, art and movement. We also take a field trip to a local museum each week.
