Mayan Golan
Founder/ Teacher /
Game Time 2.0 Manager
I am Mayan Golan. I grew up in Israel and in the USA and I have 3 mother tongues; English, Hebrew and Spanish. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in Language and Cognitive Sciences and a bachelor's degree in English Linguistics. I have been researching the world of languages and their acquisition since 2015.
I have always been an English teacher, teaching at every opportunity, and education is in every step of my life.
I founded The Treehouse together with active and amazing English speakers in the city at the end of 2019 and I intend to continue to create an international community in the Negev, which welcomes immigrants to the city and makes languages accessible to everyone!

Rosemary Franklin
Resources and Events Manager / Teacher
Hi, my name is Rosie. I have a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy and Dance. I immigrated to Israel 2 years ago from the United States. Currently, I work on our Steering Committee, as our Resources Manager. I also teach English classes and workshops for children ages 0-16. Since I myself immigrated, I understand how hard it is to learn a language, so I really enjoy working with children and families and helping them learn English and feel part of the community.
I enjoy finding new creative ways to teach my students, so they are excited to learn.

Hi everyone! My name is Liel, I am a teacher here at The Treehouse. I have an Israeli mother and an English father, so I speak both languages fluently. I have worked with children ever since I was 15 and have always felt that teaching and education are my life calling. I think communication is key to a happy and fulfilling life and English as a universal language is a very important tool to have. I bring a calm and creative energy to my classes, building and personalizing my lessons to whomever joins.

Maayan Zadok
Teacher
Hi, I'm Maayan. I was born in Israel and moved to the States with my family, as a child, making both English and Hebrew my native languages.
I tutored privately in English while in High School and taught Hebrew during my military service, and I have been teaching both languages ever since. I have worked with children in youth movements and camps and I loved teaching them games, songs and crafts, while
making a personal connection to each student.
I hold a BA in History and a teachers diploma (תעודת הוראה).

Ehud Havusha
Teacher
My name is Ehud Havusha. I grew up in Kibbutz Erez, and after some years of traveling and working in England and Australia, I moved to Beer Sheva. I have a BA in Behavioral Sciences and a MA in Sociology and Anthropology.
One of my main passions is teaching. Whether it’s English or Social Sciences, I enjoy seeing people learn and engage with new challenges.
I’m also very interested in gardening. For the last 4-5 years I’ve been working weekends in a plant nursery and have gotten to know the fascinating world of plants. I try to feature this knowledge within my English classes with the hope that the engagement with new, fun, and immersive experiences will also enhance children’s love for the English language.
